This kind of reminds me of a zen story:
Inside Or Outside The Mind?
Fa-yen [Hogen] lived alone in a small
temple in the country. One day he
overheard four travelling monks arguing
about subjectivity and objectivity. He
joined them and said: 'There is a big stone.
Do you consider it to be inside or outside
your mind?'
One of the monks replied: 'From the
Buddhist viewpoint everything is an
objectification of mind, so I would say that
the stone is inside my mind.'
'Your head must feel very heavy, then,'
observed Fa- yen, 'if you are carrying
around a stone like that in your mind.' |

The same thing that makes rocks change. Perception. |

Fossil rock,? That is no rock, his name was Peter, and he liked to sit a lot.. Seemed good at the time, before any church became a man. |

was at the local Goodwill and found a wonderful book today called "Everybody Needs a Rock" by Byrd Baylor
"Everybody needs a rock. I'm sorry for kids who don't have a rock for a friend. I'm sorry for kids who only have tricycles, bicycles, horses, elephants, goldfish, three-room playhouses, fire engines, wind-up dragons, and things like that- if they don't have a rock friend......(and there are rules to find this perfect rock friend)... one"If you can, go to a mountain made out of nothing but a hundred million small shiny beautiful roundish rocks. But if you can't, anyplace will do. Even an alley. Even a sandy road."......rule two... "when you are looking at rocks don't let mothers or fathers or sisters or brothers or even best freinds talk to you. You should choose a rock when everything is quiet. Don't let dogs bark at you or bees buzz at you. But if they do. DON'T WORRY. (The worst thing to do is go rock hunting when you are worried).......... |

Today I feel that p's are just ok. So you can put a "p" in my name, and good luck. From my good old rocking chair wisdom collection, again. _aul, I am sorry, for you, but you must earn your "p" from me.

Stanza 1: Transliteration Ma'oz tsur yeshu'ati lecha na'eh leshabeakh. Tikon beit tefilati vesham todah nezaveakh. Le'et tachin matbeakh mitsar hamnabeakh, 'az 'egmor beshir mizmor khanukat hamizbeakh.
Stanza 1: Popular English Translation (Rock of Ages) Rock of ages, let our song Praise Your saving power; You, amid the raging foes, Were our sheltering tower. Furious they assailed us, But Your arm availed us, And Your word, Broke their sword, When our own strength failed us.
Stanza 1: Literal Translation O mighty stronghold of my salvation, to praise You is a delight. Restore my House of Prayer and there we will bring a thanksgiving offering. When You will have prepared the slaughter for the blaspheming foe, Then I shall complete with a song of hymn the dedication of the Altar.

Her eyes were turned into diamonds, her love felt as black as a coat of coal. Never could she get enough, until the sad thing happened, she then lost all her marbles, sleeping on a park bench, everything was taken back as she remembered the united state of forgiveness. The stone rolled away from her heart and all the hardness lifted. She looked up to see a pair of geese rising as the sun above the lake at dusk. She had asked nothing for it to appear, not once, so it appeared everywhere, with each thought, a witness of nothing solid.

That is a prayer. God manifest everywhere and of every thing, impossible not to see the face in the attitudes - all in the space between the kiss and the icon. |

GI bleeds, those are the smelliest, together with cheap coffee grounds. That's when the art of breathing comes in handy. I, am a canal. And almost said camel. Well, I can't choose what I am, just what goes on inside of me. Camels must not be very social animals, this ones not. Up til now, I want to thank the academy, for buying my shit. I try to eat the good stuff. |

Beginnings are objective, without any chance of rejecting the moment. All lights offer a chance of acceptance. |

Well, there is a language which is a kind of allspeak, it includes many influences at once. And again it is in the attitude as to what one is, here for. Then each and every moment offers praise, and rejection is a thing of the past, the first option is to see through the suffering and not attach to an outcome as fact, and one-sided. I'm unable to express it well. But it is not limited to time or space, is the most intimate of connections. |

I have tried to fit the language together sequentially, but it seems to act more like a companion, with the next impulse being the acceptance. This then becomes the offering to others as enlightenment. |
