-What is the Great meaning of Budhha dharmas?
Hui-tang replied:
-Confucius once said: "I hide... continue...

→→→→ vertical line TOPIC: IDIOT
vertical line Posted on Mar.09.2007 @ 07:38AM EDT by HarryB
Not realising his/her enlightened nature, the idiot exhausts him/herself by running around after every whim generated by his/her 'self' misidentification.

The idiot attempts to control the world to gratify his/her misidentified self, but the idiot cannot even control him/herself... the idiot wastes all his/her energy on the mistaken views that the world is their stage, that this bad script is reality, and that they know the director.

The idiot hasn't seen the seat of power.

The idiot, thankfully, is just a very insubstantial bottle of smoke.

WHERE IS THE IDIOT?

Regards,

Harry.

vertical line Idiot is a word. What do you think it means, Professor Myuniversity?

Should we languish around in this quagmire of suffering and say/think/ do nothing? Sounds like numbed up idiocy to me.

Zen is action... after a fashion.

Regards,

Harry.
