When I was boy I read in a Christen book (the Gift of the Holy Spirit) that if you need someone God will send them but you got to be looking. How many karma encounters do we have that we do not grasp or do not act on? The trick is to always be looking, always to be aware. Some of the best love, wisdom or understanding is many times left on the floor for a lack of an attentive consumer. As you said woodman you must be looking for the prayer flags to see them. MU

Please define 'valid' in this sense:
valid way of getting to heaven quick, (cheap, no small print),
valid way of wasting your time,
valid way of feeling better about yourself,
valid way of getting the priest/ minister/ guru to think of you as a better person
valid way of mumbling attractive words,
valid way of talking to god, God or Oh, MY GOD!
valid way of...etc. etc. ad nauseum

And tonight I have to go to work, so I had to sleep today. Well, I did some other things, but prayer flags weren't in there. I have been praying a lot though. So I feel like a flag, on a windy, cold, yet sunny day. I think that flag monk is gonna have to come to me. Cuz I've got mine out there. Whoops! Never mind monk, stay. He doesn't care, you seen one flag, you seen em all, but it has to be sunny. |

I forgot to look at the monks prayer flags on the way home from work, but they had worked last night in that another nurse volunteered to pick up one of my heavy patients leaving me with a lighter load. |

Had an interesting thought, about interactions and karma, feeling like I have died to so much. All I do, each event I meet, is there to take care with, to open to the possibility of complete union. Strong vibe on top, back, right side of head. Cold, blue sky, windy day, walking prayer, sore right foot. |

Tootsie Pop wrappers make nice flags, strung together, now I have to iron them flat. Ginger chew paper wrappers will make something too, not just trash, a large batch was given free to me. Everything touched in the same way has additional value.
May call the monk tomorrow.
