|
|
 |
Posted on Apr.07.2007 @ 03:44AM EDT by rajroshi
Hi I am raj I had started my religious journey as a hindu. RAJ is my orignal name, I had started with GAYTRI MANTRA chanting this chanting make some serious change in my personality. Than I fall in deep attraction with Zen I start practice of zazen and after 2 year of regular zazen practice I start feeling the glimpses of SAMADHI. But sudnly i fall in zen sickness my heart star burning my body liquid start drying. I used to feel my body icy cold. Than I join a buddhist forum and there I found autobiography of hakuin, Thanx sven and his father for that, in this book hakuin described about his zen sickness and a mystique Taoist cure and this worked for me as a wonder. it's realy a wonder. Now i am feeling much better and I have start my zazen and reciting SANGHATT SUTRA again.

Keep simplicity in life as your best policy
Effort must be put in to achieve the desired result
Life lived with understanding is the best
Vast learning with theory and not practice
Is like a colourful flower without scent
Neither be too complacent nor too attached
Truth beyond material has the sweetest taste
Always count your blessings, not your problems
Non violence practice towards all living things
Seeking one inner self is better than outer appearance
Always be mindful of ones actions and behaviors
Your self confidence and wisdom is your best possession
Control your thoughts with mindfulness well established
Happiness comes from Teachings well practiced
Indeed, one is able to conquer all the vicissitude of life
Overcome passion and pleasures of senses within self
Never underestimate the power of the human mind
Go forth and give blessings to oneself and others
We are all here to learn from one another

Hi Lynn
Just imparting knowlege on the Art of Living
Life is a process of rediscovering
Your real worth and that of others
Now, the present moment is real
Not even past nor the near future
Meditate on this thoughts of love
After cutting of anger and hatred
Remeber this life is very fragile
I hope you will find it very useful
Enjoying life teaching Dharma

Hi Raj
I wrote this to a hindu friend by the name of Chinniah Ravi Kumar
Continuing this cycle of birth, death and rebirth many a lifetime
How not to believe in this repetitious transmigration of the Soul
It is our karma that determines how we will live in our next life
Now in Samsara, we try to accumulate our good and not bad deeds
Not to relegate one to a lower caste or even to life as an animal
Instead, through our pure acts, thoughts and devotion for a higher realm
Ask no more as this is just a natural consequences of one’s previous acts
Having ripen both in this life and in previous lives, many a lifetime
Remember, Brahma is the Creator who is continuing to create new realities
And Vishnu, (Krishna) the Preserver, who preserves these new creations
Very often Shiva, the Destroyer, is at times compassionate, erotic and destructive
It is most important to lead a righteous life through the Dharma
Keep your faith and keep on cultivating and practicing without attachment
Until one is liberated from Samsara, this endless cycle of rebirths
Metta, loving kindness should be extended towards oneself and other beings
Activities of daily devotions, hymn, prayers, rituals and puja be performed
Revere the Truth is One, but different Sages call it by Different Names
All this is within Self

Hi, Hello, My name is. I wrote this: What food do you eat on your journey? Practitioners of the dark art of advertising are probably sick because of thinking the thought that emptiness is nothing. No slogans, no cliches, no platitudes permitted. Thanks.

I have no master and there is no art. That advice was given because my hindu friend is running away from reality. Leaving everything to God's will and having living master. God help those who help themselves.
May all beings be liberate from fleeting illusion of life that lures us on and leaves us deluded.

Look here, I, yep, that's I, let go of a search for happiness, that's right, a search for happiness, and the searcher got loosed off, search lost from a loser, and the happiness, yep, that's happiness, was given right back - don't ask me, yep, that's me, how it happened. Yep, it's like somebody trying to tell you that depression is caused by a chemical imbalancein the brainbox. Like aspirin can 'cure' that headache but it doesn't mean that headaches are caused by a lack of aspirin.. Oh yeah and blah blah it's to do with this business dah dah. You know how the suffering is caused by the hows and the wherefores whyfores aforesaid aforementioneds responders to painful searches. |

There's this guy who had been lost and walking in the desert for about 2 weeks. One hot day, he sees the home of a missionary. Tired and weak, he crawls up to the house and collapses on the doorstep. The missionary finds him and nurses him back to health. Feeling better, the man asks the missionary for directions to the nearest town. On his way out the backdoor, he sees this horse. He goes back into the house and asks the missionary, "Could I borrow your horse and give it back when I reach the town?"
The missionary says, "Sure but there is a special thing about this horse. You have to say 'Thank God' to make it go and 'Amen' to make it stop."
Not paying much attetion, the man says, "Sure, ok."
So he gets on the horse and says, "Thank God" and the horse starts walking. Then he says, "Thank God, thank God," and the horse starts trotting. Feeling really brave, the man says, "Thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God" and the horse just takes off. Pretty soon he sees this cliff coming up and he's doing everything he can to make the horse stop.
"Whoa, stop, hold on!!!!"
Finally he remembers, "Amen!!"
The horse stops 4 inches from the cliff. Then the man leans back in the saddle and says, "Thank God."
