The other night my wife was playing with our puppy (if you can call a 50 lb hyperactive laboratory a puppy). The dog became over aggressive and my wife quickly swatted her on the nose. She was very confused and kept looking up like there was an unseen danger or hurt from above. Her expression was “What the hell was that?” She just could not believe my wife had hit her. If the dog had been Job I believe she would have started a dialogue with God. Thus – religion? MU

Might I suggest that, right from the beginning, we establish a precedent of NOT taking this new dog beating religion literally???

Its terribly early on for a schism.
