Sexual Love

Watched a documentary on Tibetan snow leopards. They are very solitary territorial hunting animals that use overhanging rocks as places to leave their scent -- to warn other leopards to keep away. The documentary followed a magnificent male around.  He had a huge slightly bent tail, beautiful markings, and some battle scars around his face. He and a smaller leopard, a female, crossed paths, but her scent on the marking rocks told him to stay the heck away from her.

Then she came into estrus in the Spring. When the male smelled her scent he went totally ga ga. Eventually he tracked her to the top of a rocky mountain that overlooked three valleys. She was calling out to him. He replied, and they had a conversation that went on for a few hours.

Gradually he approached her and she made it clear he was welcome. I have to say, she was pretty! What happened then was remarkable.  They engaged in a little kissy kissy behavior, kissing each other around their faces. Finally she stretched out on a rock and invited him to join her. The mating was incredibly gentle. That was it.

A few months later the robot camera caught her passing with her cub.

Recently I was introduced to a new concept: Any decision we might make comes either from love or fear, there are no other beginnings. Consequently I have been catching thoughts and asking where they come from, here is the interesting bit, I ask my heart not my head and what it says has been very interesting (of course I can not ask my heart anything it is muscle but something other than my head or conscious thought) it seems to know a lot of things to have many insights my head might not readily see. I have always had more trouble with the concept of love then any other would I have named intuition, perhaps budha nature, (true self) love?
