Can we say or right anything and it be enlightening ? Im tired of games I want less knowledge and more understanding . But what do "MY" wants matter... in the end the sun will expand past our solar system...... and this moment has already passed .

.........Point taken....but be careful on the way there ........the ankle is fully healed now just dealing with the other as it was slightly hurt on the over compensation . Hugh ...John I wish at times to play with the squirls , but they have there own issues storing nuts and preparing for the winter .

Words by themselves are of no importance. Sometimes body language is more important in communicating. Words only have the meaning we choose to invest them with. In meditating on the breath we are taught to think "in" with each inhalation and "out" with each exhalation. But reverse it saying "out" each time you inhale and "in" each time you exhale and see if it makes a difference. In the beginning was the Word, but the Word (not to mention the grammar) didn't matter and so it slinked, slank, slunk (oh what is the word!) away. |

"Read Chapter 6 of Chon Tri's Zazen Meditation Guide. He refers to it as following the breath.

......... I think in pictures, sounds, and feelings also , but when I do so my mind attaches a sign in the form of a word to each of them. But the words used are only symbols, they are not the reality itself. |

......... If Bodhidharma didn't "even exist" then none of us have either. Sometimes, I look at photos of myself (my self?) as a child and wonder if that child ever truly existed. "Existence" justs keeps slipping away like water through the fingers. |
