Why? No. I don't usually (to my knowledge), read good or bad priest blogs on myspace, with lineage - how fruitcake crap is that? Anyway, I like real fruitcake and happen to believe it isn't crap, with a cuppa tea, so there! But I took a peek and lo aand behold this priest has a comb over hairstyle, either that or he wears a rug on his head and I receive a reinforcement of intuition (I have read Nishijima's translation of Shobogenzo though and still didn't join his Sangha), So, anyway, you read it. 'Nice' is one of those words (not the place which isn't nice), that is stripped of all meaning even before it gets its socks and shoes off. And zen isn't 'nice'. Jesus and Shakyamuni aren't nicey nice. Nice just doesn't do be do it. With feet on the ground and head in, and popping up out, the clouds it isn't nice because that's where the naked rude is revolutionised by not being, offensive. |

Nobody. Anyway, this is the reason why I don't have any truck with this zen: + / - / = and I'm fed up (not nutritionally), of seeing and reading and hearing the silly, stupid word. I cured myself of zen by repeating 'zen' audibly, over and over and over again and I as thus able to recollect how I very nearly went stark staring mad during the dog-days when I used to contemplate soap bubbles soaking in the bath for hours at a time. |
