why is budhism such a negative religion? i mean the traditional budhism not zen.

Hi,
Denouncing unfair critcism of other faiths, the Buddha states: "It is as a man looks up and spits at heaven - the spittle does not soil the heaven, but it come back and defiles his own person."
Buddhism expounds no dogmas that one must blindly believe, no creeds that one must accept on good faith without reasoning, no superstitious rites and ceremonies to be observed , no meaningless sacrifices and penances for one's purification.
Buddhism is not a religion, but a way of life. It is not " a system of faith and worship", owing any allegiance to a supernatural God.
Zen Buddhism is part of traditional Buddhism. Be not negative about it. Find out more for yourself. Not hearsay.
