What keeps us from working for the befit of others?
Would you be a nurse for no pay, no positive stokes, no ego satisfaction or personal growth? |

Hi Wood love'ya man your all right. For the love of others. I do it/ And I do it now in my life. Asking nothing in return. Think of the peace you get, the understanding of people. It's all in the mine. You well love you. |

Remember, as a nursie, I get plenty of karmic stuff comin' my way, always. Don't under-value the real hard working, get your hands on, in, under, over, all-around dirty experiences. There are plenty of times that I'd like to drive right on past the old big house. It's tough, and sad to see how lost people are when confined to a bed, and in pain. Money doesn't take away the stress of doing the grunt work. I gotta do somethin' to get me outta the woods. Too easy cuttin' down trees and stackin' wood. . . meditative. Don't even get me started with the "unusual" stuff that filters through each day. It's all connected, to Rory. If I say so. Unconditional positive regards, it's Buddhahood for all! |

What a fine reply. To do what you do because it is more beneficial to other sentimental beings than what you would like to do. Human interaction is so hard and stacking wood is tiring. Money offers no strength but compassion makes one mighty. I nominate you for Wooden-hood. MU |

I'm just a nurse. It's what I can tolerate that makes me what I am. But therein lies the balance. Recognition for a nurse may be getting a cookie, or free meal ticket, and I am learning just to value a cup of water over the abundance of distracting flavor. And I like quiet, so I work nights. People at work don't understand me, but seem to like me. If that matters, to you. |

What's a "sentimental being"? Someone on a sentimental journey through DeadWood? Or someone with Wood? Eugene, pass me my axe. Or a chainsaw, and I want one that sounds like the voice of God. |

Hi Wood, No I been out of work here in the San Francisco, bayarea for a very long time. But still looking. Free time I sit with elderly 80, 85, one the is great he is 94 and still with his mine at full understanding. It's others I see the true me. To give others what they lack and want nothing in return. For the LOVE of others. Only us as a wrold can make it work. KEEP IT SIMPLE |

aahh...nostalgia ain't what it used to be...
Gonna take a Sentimental Journey, Gonna set my heart at ease. Gonna make a Sentimental Journey, to renew old memories.
Got my bags, got my reservations, Spent each dime I could afford. Like a child in wild anticipation, I Long to hear that, "All aboard!"
Seven...that's the time we leave at seven. I'll be waitin' up at heaven, Countin' every mile of railroad track, that takes me back.
Never thought my heart could be so yearny. Why did I decide to roam? Gotta take that Sentimental Journey, Sentimental Journey home. Sentimental Journey.

Rory, have you looked into nurse's aide work at nursing homes? Do you have any talents that may lend themselves to art or music venues? Are you physically fit or capable of manual labor? |

Oh dear, minimimicme. That's a nonscent. You off... the scent. And how do you put food on your table? hmmm? Bet you won't say, maybe maybe not, eh Nursie? And this conceited practice of foregoing the usage of personal pronouns and prepositions in your attempts at written word communications - is it because you're just incapable scents-wise or is it a pathological fear thing? |

Of course, I have never been a one for personal advancement, well maybe when I was a little boy. But last week it seemed to me that I had no option but to resign from my position as communications secretary for a vegetarian / vegan association / animal rights group, for reasons. Anyway, then almost immediately afterwards, the newsletter editor was sacked by the management. And now I'm being asked to be the new newsletter editor. Now, I wouldn't define myself in terms of either of those jobs and notwithstanding all the other jobs I do, but because they aren't me. |

Although I'm like the fully qualified pro, (I know, that looks bad in print), I received and will receive no monetary reward, no remuneration for doing those particular jobs. I don't want to go all mushy on ya but this kind of work allows me to freely give what I have freely and feely received with feelies.
Right, now I have other jobs. And I'm grateful. Thankful that I can find a home for some of my orphaned books. |
