I am called Buddha but I know no stinking Buddha so I am Buddha.

Pleasure is suffering, it creates more suffering, just by the fact of the inequalities it creates, as in... to be without, or to be with, happiness either way. The brownie to die for, again, is an exaggerated example of "more is better". What a lie! More is worse! So, I make it a pattern of refusing rich delicious foods, just to cause a fraction of doubt, in others. I don't drink any alcohol either. Won't go to parties (again a food thing), and, what else? My finger was a lesson for me, not to think and work at the same time. |

Just starting to function again. Mostly been sleeping the last couple of weeks, not doing anything, but waiting, waiting for it to pass.. Sleep has been a good distraction and therapy, I`ve started to dream again, or rather probably, I am aware of me dreaming again. Nice dreams, nothing special. Have dreamt much about family it seems. Noticing that my dead grandmother has this curiouse ability to be alive in my dreams. Like it should be the most natural thing in the world. Also have this feeling that I`ve noticed this and contemplated this fact in one or more dream(s), But those dream memories are so faint, just bits and pieces of some unknown abstract story I suspect I`ve dreamt.
Nothing special about the dreams in one way, just family, relatives doing stuff together, traveling. Having a pleasant time, even enjoying the company of my mother. Much exploring of my grandmothers house, thats often very big, floors in bad condition, rotten planks. (the dream house never resemble the real 4 story house thats rater in good shape). Sometimes the house might even undetectingly transform itself into an ocean liner/ferry, changing the whole course of the dream.
Also remember dreaming about one of the friends I`ve silently said goodbye to. That to was nice, some extravagant huge cool hotel room, him with some pretty lady. Pleasure has always been his game, much younger than me. (Had some good times with him. Some bad ones too with harsh but rather enlightning arguments over me lending a hand in getting his business venture up and running, taking pleasure in giving him "highcost" graphically work for pennies. And his lack of understanding that I would accept him being 2 even three months behind on an invoice, but could not relate to phony dates, exuses and other totally unessesary bullshit when I was counting on those money for overdue bills.)
When I was not sleeping I was in misery, contemplating cozy, painless and practical ways to commit suicide using common houshold items (there are none btw.) Contemplating the effect on my surroundings, practical matters.
After two weeks it got really bad, a good time to not have a gun or access to morpine. Then I kinda snapped out of it over a few days, even the fucking weather went from weeks of rain rain to sunshine.
I realised I would be able to function again, making stuff on my computer, handling the world.
U see, the crutch was not helping me anymore, I had to throw it away, I really had no choice in that matter. It was the only thing I was certain of. I had no frigging idea of how long time it would take me to functione normally again, or if I ever would..
It seem like i`m okay now. Have this huge stack of unopened letters, bills. overdue rent, undone taxpapers long overdue, it`s all a big mess. But it`s ok, because I know now that I am capable of handling it.
Was on my first business meeting in a long time yesterday, they were real happy to see me. No one even mentioned the fact that I was in a similare meeting many months ago, for so to loose all the notes and do nothing afterwards.
I tought I had lost two other clients after not even bothering to check mail for weeks, but found one apology for not getting in thouch due to server problems and stuff and are meeting them on monday. No mail from the other client, but an apology when I called them for forgetting to tell me that the whole project had been postponed for 2 months.
I take it as a good start, must have done something good:) Now I just gotta magically create (=borrow) money to take care of screaming short term crises, which I guess it`s plenty of, call abouth my taxes and tell them what an idiot I am and beg for mercy. And all sorta shit. No big deal really, because I am fully cabable of handling it. Might even be fun to fix this mess. A mess that really started years ago with some quick pleasure, leading to easy shortcuts in taking on a teaching job in something I`d always wanted to learn.. :/
But I have nothing against brownies, nothing for them either for that matter. I don`t eat them so much anymore, they really means nothing to me. |

I like it best when my postings suck and I'm a sick lost sicko dirty bitch dog who needs the doc to take a look at me to do some open heart surgery. I'm so sick I cam smell them sober fingers flexing fist - they stink of the kind of renunciation that ties the lush in knots for all eternity.

Gyro 16, I think you've assigned yourself a koan. We could all throw a lot of words and concepts at it , but all we'd be doing is adding to the words and concepts you have already formed about the subject. |
