the future is not cast in stone. nothing says it follows a predetemined course. the past is dead. the future can be changed.

Who care about the future, what about now? My point is, it was nice yapping away, writing these words. But I`ll bet I`ll sleep better if I get some work done and probably a better future, so why am I still here? G`night:) |

There is no such thing that lives called future - it is an idea of what could be, might be, would like to be, fear may be, all tied up neat and wrapped in fantasy masquerading as dream. Creating karma day by day? Nay, there is no day by day. You have an idea of a non idea of what it is you think you are trying to talk about. In trying to convey much, nothings are conveyed. In trying to understand, no things are understood and when attempting an explanation along those lines all one succeeds in doing is lying. Sorry if you think that's harsh but that's the way it is, day by day isn't in it, fortunately or unfortunately. Pick a label - and every thing and no thing is its own karma. |

......... In terms of relative(worldly) truth there is both a past and a future which are connected by the present(now). Perhaps I should've said that we create our kharma now by now. In terms of absolute truth there is no past, present, or future. And of course there is no absolute or relative truth either. Harsh? Give it your best shot. |

Hello shayners ,
I didnt realize there was a future to even ponder . I dont feel you can change the "future" only your personal path is what you have control over so the moments that may happen next are only carried forward by the entity called "I" You have control over your next action but to say that you could ever control the whole possable future is a bit egotistical . There is so much that happens moment to moment ......right ?
