Masters, non-masters, student, non students and demons.
Alan’s Web site is many things. All messages are equal in the eyes of the electrons. The HTML has no preferences. Words are empty vessels of noises we make to try and communicate. Compassion should be in the mind of the listener. We all would like to end all the suffering. The equation is complicated or very simple. MU

Letting the mind wander opens the house to "demons," that is, hallucinations and harm. Thus, Zen practitioners are taught that, while in meditation, "Encountering demons, kill the demons, encountering Buddhas, kill the Buddhas." Both demons and Buddhas are mind-made, Mind-Only.

Ask chontri or, um, the other ones about your boredom and your anxiety and what they think it could mean. |

It's hectic I don't like. So I slow down in the boredom to slow down the fast paced fear. |

And I thought boredom is all about dissatisfaction, ennui, frustration and restlessness - the kinds of states brought on by denying fear. Shows how little I think I know, eh? |
