I appreciate that you like lists, itemised accounts and definitions but that's not what memory is.

vertical line Oh memories. They are quite cool. They are kind of references.
See, U recollect an echo of a faint experience, tell a story.

"Me and Jimbo was fishing, weather fine, and we caught a big
fish yadda yadda".

What U really experiences are small flashes of awareness, U
don't really "remember" some fishing story bases on words.

Words are what comes when U recollect the "flashes".

"Warm sun heated plastic seat in the rowboat"
"That thingy he did with the eyebrow"
"Silence"
"plop"
"tranquility"

happenings that are reflected back and forth as the echoes
get smaller and smaller with bits and pieces of experience.

When remembering it is the "enlightened part of you" that bing
forth the raw data, then the mind spins a story based on these
bits and pieces.

So it is more like reconstructing the event in our head than
"looking at a film of what really took place."

So, where does the knots connect one might say, between
memories, thoughts, and liberation.

This has to do with self feeling. Everything has to do with
"self feeling". Even the most self sacrificing merit will
cataclysm back to this one truth. "Oh, how compassionate
I am feeling and acting. I feel good about myself, and that
is all that matters. What a good day, rain is pounding, shops
are closed. makes me wanna sing. And.. eh..

What was I talking about again? Ah, memories. so to
conclude, memories are nothing more than twisted pieces
of facts that one ought a grab onto and try and soak out the
last juice of pleasure from the good ones, while doing ones
best to avoid the bad ones. And, eh.. Shit, lost the point, this
posting got all messed up. Who cares, where is Goofass?
Goooofass?!! This place is not the same without you!
