TOPIC: CONFUSION AND TRUTH |
|
|
 |
Posted on Jan.13.2008 @ 08:28PM EDT by chontri
What has one been seeking for through thousands of years now?
Once one was born he already lives long enough to die.
Between his birth and death is his own confusion.
With confusion, he grows up and gets educated, gets married and has children, and lives his life in contradictions and conflicts in himself.
With confusion, he treats his spouse and children.
With confusion, he reasons, argues, and quarrels with his friends and others.
With confusion, he tries to make order from chaos, and the order he made is also a confusion.
With confusion, he makes love for pleasure and tries to live in happiness, but he gets suffered desperated.
With confusion, he makes wars against his opponents for punishment.
With confusion, he creates philosophy, theory or practice, and fights to death for it.
With confusion, he starts searching truth, the first cause of everything, Creator, God or whatsoever... and fights to death for that.
With confusion, he escapes from the facts of life and run into jungles or forests, into monasteries or temples or churches...and lives there until the death comes.
With confusion, he makes himself a leader or a follower of a faith or belief, of religion or a political party, and fights to death for it.
With confusion, he builds churches or centers, and creates more confusion for himself and others.
If he could realize what he's seeking for and doing are just the confusion, and the confusion is himself and himself is the confusion, then the confusion would immediately stop itself and he would stop seeking himself.
And at that moment, the Beauty of Life and Death is right front of his eyes, right under his nose, right in his heart-mind-body.
The Beauty of Life and Death is his Heart-Mind-Body itself and his Heart-Mind-Body is the Beauty of Life and Death.
His Heart-Mind-Body is the Ultimate Truth itself and the Ultimate Truth is his Heart-Mind-Body itself.
Everything now falls into its place and there is no more seeking whatsoever.

Shayne then. But when I went for my long walk with the dog in the wet slushy snow, I found myself walking in another person's tracks. There was only one other person's tracks to follow, and eventually I was walking alone, except for the dog next to me. But half way out (about 3 miles) we were alone. And in this aloneness, I became focused on the little things, like the newest next step, and how each one feels, and the cold wetness, almost painfulness of being so far out away from the warm comfort of home, and getting cold, soaked. The dog didn't care. "Woof!" Neither did I. But when I was walking in that other person's tracks I felt eased, as if all the impressions in the snow made things easier to step into. Even where a tree branch crossed the road it made an impression down on the ground where there was less snow. So it was like, where everything stood, even around it was effected, easing the way for another who shared the space. And it reminded me of words, and how they are used here... like imprints, in the snow, each made for the next to follow. I guess that's my type of gassho, if one can relate, at all.

Quote: "No, he just let the confusion pass right trough him like the sea refuses no river or something awesomly cool shit like that, right Chontri?:) " ......... You're right, Snibbler. It already passed through ChonTri and now it reached the man named ---0, with a very fast speed that exceeded the limit speed of light. If the man named ---0 doesn't hold it too tight and too long, it will reach the sea and disappear in it as you predicted. |

I was not asking him, but you. It was your story.
" ......... Mr ----0, " ......... Mr ----0,
At first, you were asking "he" - the character in the story. Now you changed and asking "you", who is that "you"? Does he get something called name?
If you implied the one named ChonTri, if so, he already answered your question. If you are not satisfied with the answer he gave, just find yourself the answer that could satisfy you.
That answer is the only one answer ChonTri got. He doesn't have any other answer which satisfies you to give and he doesn't want to be asked the same question again, either. |
