At the risk of showing my age,( ha ha! )back in the day my first real understanding of the principles of Zen came with a book called Be Here Now,by Babba Ram Dass.It was not only a verbal experiance,but a visual one also.
I'm wondering...is there anyone out there familiar with this book,and if so what did you think about it?

Doe's the river have no destiation also? For the water
to have no movement,creates stagnation.
Does not the Universe itself have a path,a "way".
You are "the lie",incarnate.

necessity to try and prove me beneath you,and your belief.
