A monk came to say good bye to Ch'an master Niaowo (Bird's Nest). He said:
-Thank you, Sir, for everything you've done for me. Now I got to go.
-Where will you go?
-Any place where I can learn Buddha dharmas.

A state of inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, attitudes; a perception of incompatibility between two or more cognitions which sets up a mental resistance to information that you do not want to think about, creating and supporting mental and bodily tension - erroneously believed to be zen - this is not zen, this is zenguide, where if you learn, or believe you are unlearning, to behave in a particular way, your beliefs, as you search for the consonant cognition, will change in order to conform with your behaviour.
