Some blind men were asked to examine an elephant and describe it.  One man was too old, so he just listened to the others.

One man, on the ground ran from leg to leg, putting his arms around them and proclaiming that it was like four trees.

Another grabbed the tail and said it was like a rope.

Another grabbed the trunk and said it was like a hose.

Another climbed up behind it head and said it was like a big coconut with palm leaves on its sides.

Another climbed up on it back and said it was like a huge barrel.

They all argued about who was right, and wrong, and fought among themselves.

Then the old blind man, who had been sitting and listening, interrupted and said, "You are all right.  I have been listening to all of you, and I think I can describe this elephant.  It is like a big barrel resting on four tree stumps, with a rope at one end, and a big coconut with palm leaves at the other with a hose protruding from that."

I have seen an elephant, but have never touched it.

If you want to argue that you are right,

Then you could not be more wrong.

There is no answer to the unanswerable question.

And that is not an answer either.

There's nothing to hang onto.  Not even nothing.

There just is what is, at the moment, no matter how big or small that may be.

There may not even be anything but you, at the moment, and what you are perceiving.

It okay not to know, but just to do your best with the understanding you have now.
