When Yang-shan Hui-chi (807-883), as a young monk, paid a visit to the Ch'an master
Hsing-k'ung, there was a monk who asked Hsing-k'ung:
-What is the meaning of the Patriarch's coming from the West?
Hsing-k'ung replied:
-Suppose... continue...

dont ever think i seen a luna moth. seen this huge ass moth one time on a neighbors garage. she squished it though, it was gorgeous.

once shot one of those white butterflies with my kids bb gun. felt quilty. it was a good shot though. it was fluttering around and i shot it at about 10 yards. clipped its wing off.

vertical line Today I found a tiger swallow tail that was incomplete from it's metamorphosis, it could only crawl, and flutter it's wings a little. So I let it crawl onto my hand and put it on a flower.

vertical line Went to take snufflenuts (the dog) out for the 3 miler today, and out in the front, there was the limp-winged tiger swallowtail, clinging to another flower in the yard, the tallest weed in the garden. If it can't fly, at least it can climb... and to make it through the shower we had last night too. That's one determined butterflyless.

I`ll bet they can smell my city blood, sensing easy
prey far away from the safetyn of his double isolated
windows and other luxuries we all so easily take for
granted back in the sivilised areas.

At 5`clock in the moorning, fluttering away with their
night chant "wake up-wake up-squeak-wake up-wake "

Life out here on the country side takes on it`s own quality.
I`ts like a different world, or rather time. far away from
any signs of sivilisation.

Sometimes I`m wondering how things are going back there
in the big city, if the girl I let live in my appartment
takes god care of it, and Muffe, the worlds biggest algea eater.

Thou I have my origin here, the natives still can be a
little hostile at times.

Meditation tecniques like silently sentering the inner
focus point in form off a prayer/chant helps

"shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-
shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up-shut-up"

Also important to tacticly avoid beeing trapped in a "free
speech zone", jinxed by simple hot water and grinded coffe beans.

(There are ancient wordings abouth a teqniue called "Burning
troat- running dragon" that supposedly helps but is dangerous
and only are to be used by skilled masters.)

There has not been many squirmiches with the natives thou.

Even if there are many seperating things abouth theire ways
that seems both barbaric and incomprehensible from a
sivilised point of view., there is something charming abouth
them.despite the custom of killing off brown slugs, playing God
and stuff.

how can one say some stupid vegetables and flowers are more
valuable life than our oxygen breathing brown brother that belong
to the world of cell creatures??

She has in the most discriminate way started this genocide
on just the brown colored slugs, as if the poor things had any
choice what race and color they were born with!

Guess my mother and I will never come to agreement on animals,
she`d even stopped feeding Klaus, while I was away! And worse,
even chased the poor starving thing away!

Have not seen him around here for three weeks out here now, Klaus...
snff.. that seagull was so kewl..

And how I miss walking out at 05.00 buying night snack, kebab, cake.
Sigh... Out here they close off all food supplies in shops after 23.00,
even if people starve! Not One night open kebab shop!

Sometimes hard to think of the journey back to sivilisation.
In worst case I`m loooking at 15-20minutes, cramped togheter under
horrible conditions on a public bus. I`ll pray it wont come to that! So
which me luck and Good summer morons:)

vertical line Squaked! That was a squacking bird, not a hummer!  Them is contagious!  With the coo-dees! Wash everything! I did...

Ok, my story is not as near so cool. Was in the car driving back from after having picked up a steel drum, and a wasp flew in, so first I spilled a drink on myself, then thought I had ushered it out with a swish. Then at home was unloading the barrel, and some folding chair I picked out of the trash, and the wasp was on the folding chair. So I took it on a stick, and let it go on a sawhorse. I think it lived out it's next life in peace.
