Let me tell you about the middle path.

Dressing in rough and dirty garments, letting your hair grow matted,
abstaining from eating any meat or fish, does not clean the one who is deluded.
Mortifying the flesh through excessive... continue...

vertical line Posted on Jul.25.2008 @ 09:00AM EDT by ______
At breakfast, a fledged robin, slipping and sliding in the berberis. I say to the robin, “Hello little robin, where are your mother and father?” And the little robin slips and grips. So I say, “What are you doing?” And the little robin bobs. And the little robin cocks his head.

A butterfly is sunning on a teasel, flexes a wing. “Hello”, I say. “What are you looking for?” The butterfly tongues the flower, nectar deep. “Do you know who you are?” Out she spreads her wings. The robin’s throat trembles, a sweet rill he sings.

Now, a pigeon on the fence. She looks this way and that, up and down, and, “Coo-coo! Coo-coo!” “Hello”, I say. “Coo-coo! Coo-coo!” I say to the pigeon, “Have you found yourself?” Out puffs her chest, “Coo-coo!” With a clap of wing, from the fence onto a branch above my head, “Coo-coo! Coo-coo! Coo-coo!”

Poo-poo-splatt!

The moment that you know this experience, it becomes a memory.

Who knows?

And how would you know who knows?

vertical line Bring to life a better word one which is not seen, but heard, as the call from the unity of opposites. Accept what is always changing. Open to the day of new beginnings. Create your own good karma, from the inside out.

vertical line That's another one I don't get, but I did notice the fixation on words, thought forms and the making and unmaking of, via words. It seems that's what turns them on and off. And yet, there doesn't seem to be anyone watching the screen the pixellated words are tattooed on, like the equivalent of not looking at the paper the words are printed on.
