Different winds come from all directions. Some are clear, some carry dust,
some are cold or hot, fierce gales or gentle breezes. In the same way
sensations arise in the body... continue...

vertical line Your own belief of lack and limitation, and of what you believe you deserve, stops you from seeing that you are an enlightened being.

Tell me what you know about wanting to achieve spiritual enlightenment.

Also, what is spiritual anyway?

What is enlightenment as well?

But moreso, what , what is spiritual?

Maybe, what is non-spiritual?

What is either?

vertical line I`ts like how one perceive life I guess. To be real, more present with the right attitude,
not trying to prove anything. It sucks when life`s definable, like... darn, lost my train of tought.
Anyway, the nice thing about the world is our choice of how it is, or rather should be, hrmmr... Darn, what was my point? Anyway, Woodsman will take it from here.

(Oh, and it has something with our sense of self I guess, can`t be happy unless were in acceptance of who we are and what we do or something like that? Woodsman will explain what the darn it means:)

(Where`s yooou`re Good Now Woods??:)

Enlightenment is not an achievement.  Great care is taken to dance around what it is or isn't, on a personal level, when there is no personal level left.

Attained seems to be the accepted choice, being sufficiently nondescript.

I suppose it is like a golfer being struck by lightening.  You play for the sake of playing, for the love of the game, and maybe someday you'll be struck by lightening.

Meditate for the sake of meditation, and maybe someday you'll be struck by Satori.

Anything you try to do to make it happen will probably keep it from happening.  Meaning that you will just keep grounding yourself out that way, because doing anything bonds you to the ego.

Do nothing to attain Satori, not even the slightest thing.

vertical line I´ve never read the book you mentioned.

The stories about Chuang Tzu are great. If you´re into poetry, you may like reading Alberto Caeiro´s poems (actually, the author is Fernando Pessoa). No matter how many times I read them, they still strike me as a thunderbolt.

Now, I guess if you can keep being "pretty new to all of this" you´ll eventually be... well, alright.
