vertical line That is pain. Suffering is the result of your attitude to the pain. You are in pain, take something for the pain. Refuse to be a victim, refuse to suffer. Learn pain management. Deal with the pain and let go of the suffering.

Is suffering not an experience?

Is experience not the means for attachment?

Are not experience and attachment the one?

Outside of experience and attachment what is there to find within reality?

Is suffering not then equal to any other of the myriad of experiences?

Why do we suffer?

Attachment? Addiction? Habitualism? Ignorance?

Suffering is suffering.  It is a choice, just as is not to suffer.

The Green River Killer said that he did what he did because he lacked "that empathy thing".

Yet he cried for himself at his trial.

If he could find it within himself for himself, he could have found it earlier for others.  He chose not to.

Coincidentally bumped into this ("Conscious Living"), recently, which seems to have a similar theme.

Left me feeling ... self-conscious ;). Humor is always nice form of pain management, though.
