One day the Buddha was asked by the naked ascetic Kassapa:
-Master Gotama, is suffering created by oneself?
The Buddha replied:
-Not so, Kassapa.
-Then, is suffering created by another?
-Not so, Kassapa.
-Then,... continue...

philosophy is a like a coin.

it has two sides and each side is differant then the other.

the yin and the yang.

exactally.

philosophy to me is two sided.

one side ALWAYS contradicts the other and wipes it out.

so they exist as a man made fabracation.

heres the kicker.

use em to FIT the situation.

they are circumstantial.

if someone says this.

you say that.

why?

to get them back on track to the straight and narrow.

so that way the pinpointedness of mind is not ATTACHED to any one philosophy.

it all exists ( for us as a fabrication )

so why not use it all.

my personal philosophy?

ummmm.

dont have any to be honest.

i believe in the attention.

i believe in the self.

i do kinda believe in reincarnation.

save for he fact i have yet to remember past lives.

one of my favorite expressions is-

like an eye that sees but cannot see itself.

namely pointing towards the mind.

beyond this i dont have much philosophy.

whats yours bluerose?

I interpretted your original post as your griping about me sitting here policing your posts to make you look stupid, having nothing to do with the original posting by shayne. The inherent problem of "clever" posts that are cryptic is that they usually result in misinterpretation leading to counter-productive comments. Context asides, coherency on a discussion forum is a must on zenguide or elsewhere.

If someone wants to wax philosophical they will not get it past her.

She never lets us forget the intangeability of it all.  That is useful.

Hard to understand?  Yes.
