Obviously this is way too hard for many people to answer.

It must touch a nerve.

It seems to be too confrontational for those who make too many excuses as to why they are not happy.

What is your way of being then if its not happiness?

Be honest.

Mine just might be 'inquisitive'.

maybe even i should take your advice bluerose. of course mine is a question of going too FAR with happiness or sadness.

but what other choice?

i control it or does it control me?

ah the answer lies in NOT paying attention to it.....or attaching.....which is another way of saying. dont pay it any attention. itll pass.
