vertical line Its hard to be a 'tortured artist' without suffering.  And if you think the work is worth it, go for it!  More power to you.

I asked God once what 'reality' was, and God saith unto me, emphasis added, of course, just for fun,

"Everything is in me.  Not on me, or around me, but in me."

Take it or leave it.  That's what I heard.  No lie.  Real or imagined.

I suppose everyone's meditation is personal, so its probably best not to share it.  But in each case our meditation is our communication with Buddha, or whatever you want to call it.  Its really going inside oneself.  It is introspection.  And there is no predicting what will happen.

Real or imagined?  Who can say.  You can say what you experienced.  But proving it would be an unrealistic challenge.

The most basic precept would be to say that prayer is talking to Buddha, and meditation is listening to Buddha.  Answers can come in words, or visions, or any kind of form, even some that are beyond imagination.

Its okay to be a doubter.  You'll just be all the more convinced when it convinces you.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'within'.

But I will try to refrain in the future from recounting my own personal meditative experiences.  They have no value beyond my own experience anyway.

The only meditative experiences that can have any value for you are your own.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
