The way toward liberation is to train yourself to live in the present
without wanting to become anything. Give up becoming this or that,
live without cravings, and experience... continue...

Do some not think? ;)

What is rational? Hypothalamus: the satisfaction of one's desires... now, if I could get some rich/powerful friends together that shared the same vision... our lives would be won, I think.

The collapse of a government/nation = the death of an insect in this (infinite?) universe.

You want the safety of that which you love and enjoy? Your McDonalds and/or your family? You have to pay for it. ;)

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
 - John Stuart Mill

I have my doubts when it comes to Anarchism. And seeing the standard of living and average wealth of the more populous regions of the world are exponential lower, I would never want things to be "averaged out". This would mean a substantial lowering of the status quo for those in Western nations.

One example that you might find unappealing: the Chinese government has little respect for individuals and individual freedoms.

Who can we praise? Not Jesus, I'm sure: we can thank him for the dark ages. Not Buddha either: what the hell does a Hindu revolutionary give us? Most of the efficiency and comfort in our lives comes from prominent western scientists. Newton, Einstein, Benjamin Franklin... more and more

If you're living well, you'd want to keep things the way they are. There simply aren't enough resources in the world...
