The way toward liberation is to train yourself to live in the present
without wanting to become anything. Give up becoming this or that,
live without cravings, and experience... continue...

Zen Progress

Mind’s words, mostly trash if you would but ask

Lead astray with their abstraction mask.

Zen words, just ash from burning the trash

Feed the souls on the spiritual path.

But making progress? Don’t be daft

From here to there and then and when

Make more sense to a donkey

Than they do to Zen

Is there really such a thing as 'Zen Progress'.

Is that anything like 'Pilgrim's Progress', which was a book about newcomers to the new land.

Are we not all Pilgrims with nowhere to go?
