One day, a monk traveled into the mountain where Gensha Shibi resided
to see the Zen master and study Zen with him. The monk said to Gensha:
-I am a new comer, please be kind to tell me where I can enter the Zen gate.

Inspiration For The Day

Points of Practice

1)        The Buddhist Middle Path is the realization of the Four Noble Truths and Noble Eightfold Path. Understanding of Suffering, the causes, the end, and the way to end suffering. With this right understanding, thoughts, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness and concentration you need to motivate oneself to put it into practice.

2)        Discipline yourself. Moral values are the key. Workout some forms of daily schedules. Have time allotted for meditation and study and stick to it without clinging unreasonably. Be flexible and make adjustment along the way when the need arises.

3)        Practice Metta-Bhavana that is Loving Kindness at the start of the day. Don’t habour ill feelings. When angry, watch anger arises without entertaining it. Soon it will diminish.

4)        What ever happens along the way happened for a reason. It is a way for us to practice. Know that these obstacles are not new at all, but only your awareness of them is new.

5)        We need to unconditioned what is wrong and put them right. Don’t repeat the same mistake twice.

6)        The highest religion in mankind is the religion that cares for all living beings.

7)        Believe in yourself that meditation is about understanding the true nature of mind and matter. This is what the Buddha taught in Insight Meditation i.e. Vispassana Meditation.

8)        Cut off grasping. When you fulfill one need, another need arises just and greed itself feed on itself.

9)        When someone has wrongly accused and blamed you, take it with a stride that you owe them in the last life; it is pointless to argue as argument become a fault.

10)     Whatever you do, by body, speech or mind, do it with sincerity. Make hay while the sunshine.

11)     Eat to live and not live to Eat. Eat mindfully. We eat to allay our hunger and the body needs to be maintained in order for us to practice. Overeating can lead to sloth and torpor.

12)     With awareness before thoughts you will be able to come to realize that when thoughts binds, it become a beliefs. So cut off all thoughts and beliefs.

13)     When sexual desire arises, watch it’s rising and falling, soon you will know that beauty is only skin deep.

14)     Like a raft that helps you to cross over to the other shore, so is Dharma you need to let go when the time comes.

15)     Buddha learnt from many teachers but none could give him the answers he wanted. So he finally found truth within himself.

16)     No need to follow a teacher, you are just copying. Only a master knocks the wrong senses out of you. Buddhas merely show the way.

17)     Blind followers are bootlicker, both will fall into a pit and their actions will bear heavier karmic consequences.

18)     There are no such things as spiritual wife but spiritual friend which is called good kalayamitta.

19)     If you cannot find peace within, you can never find it outside, even if you find, it is short-lived.
.

20)     Ego is always empowering us to think, feel and do what is right but this self-delusion.

21)     There is no achievement, so don’t think of realization, attainment or even enlightenment. You are still stuck if you cling to them all.

22)     Beware of "The Self-proclaimed Enlightened Ones” or “Living Buddhas”. These are unenlightened "teachers" who verified by themselves to be by blind followers.

23)     Don’t be fooled by monks with robes, not following the Vinaya Rules.

24)      Better to study the authenticate teachings of the Buddha, than follow to a teacher with no knowledge of the Dharma and whose understanding is shallow.

25)     Never say you don't care what others think, because you do care, it is demonstrated
by your self-denial.

26)     Cultivate friendships that will help you develop inner understanding and avoid those who go about partying their defilements.

27)     The study of Buddhism is to have doubt, learn to ask the right questions rather than find answers.

28)     Nothing is permanent, everything changes in the moment, learn to treasure every moments.

29)     Learn to practice during the many idle moments of the day. Keep a thread of self
awareness alive as much as possible throughout the day.

30)     Vegetarianism is good lifestyle but it does not necessarily make you a better
Buddhist than one who isn't. The important thing is to have deep compassion for all forms of lives.

31)     If you can’t find Buddha’s nature in all. You can’t find Buddha at all. You can't cheat the Buddha.

32)     To avoid evil, to do good, and purity the mind – this is the teaching of all Buddhas.

Like this version better: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law".

Remembered Encountering  Body Examination Cutting Causes Awakening

In  Youtube- Autopsy of a woman where they cut her up to pieces. Beneath the skin lies all the organs of the body. Seeing a dead person let one knows how to practise non-attachment.

Yeah, true beauty is both inside and out. And sex is great. I hate it when you see someone really hot and they end up being a total schmuck. It's a complete turn off.

Here's an alternate list:

1) Have lots of sex. It's proven to be healthy psychologically and physically (for the exercise). Make sure not to feel guilty about it because it's natural, and anyone that tells you otherwise is a neurotic fiend.

revised point 13.....

When sexual desire arises, from lust, watch it rising and falling, soonyou will know that beauty is only skin deep.

13.5  When sexual desire arises from love and the need to express it...share...touch that bliss!

By the way...cutting up a woman(yuk) shows soul temple

Not that soul temple can express love intimacy, passion ..through....

Beautiful souls share sex

Anyway.....enough said

32 points of practice and the number next in the sequence isn't: 33 - following 32 and preceding 34 - the natural number, the largest positive integer that can not be expressed as a sum of different triangular numbers - the smallest odd repdigit that isn't prime . . .  comprising prime factors 3 & 11 . . . .aliquot sum: 15.
