  One day, Chang-sha Ching-tsen (d. 868), one of the well-known Chinese Ch'an masters,
wandered in the mountain. When he was back just at the gate of the temple, the head monk asked him:

→→→→ vertical line TOPIC: THE ULTIMATE REALITY.
vertical line Posted on Jan.08.2009 @ 08:38PM EDT by shayne

can we not see the ultimate reality is the mind?

we made all this.

the ultimate reality looks for the ultimate reality.

this is just to say....switch the thinking around from the object to the subject at hand.

grasp the mind.

but this is mind grasping for mind.

be the mind is the most approriate answer.

besides we have no choice.

we are it.

in each breath.

in each moment.

we are the great mind.

their is no controlling of the mind.

we have always had control.

atrifical discipline is just what it is.

say mu to your blue in the face.

count your breaths.

in the end it does not matter if you cannot grasp the essence of the mind.
