Once the brahmin Janussoni approached the Buddha... and spoke to him thus:

"It is said, Master Gotama, 'Nibbana is directly visible.' In what way, Master
Gotama, is Nibbana... continue...

The 8 fold path is nice.

I like the idea of the Middle Way better, with the annalogy of the strings of the music instrument.

If the strings are too tight they may break.

To loose and they make no useful sound.

But tuned just right and played correctly they make beautiful music.

Cannot remember where I read that.  Somewhere on this site.

i do believe i wrote it don.

either way.........i agree.

a mind too taught and the strings break.

a mind too lax and it makes a awful sound.

not too tight. not too loose.

one must not forget the 8 fold path comes from where?

the very essence of the buddha nature.

guatama made it for use to use.

he made it up.

vertical line It's just, that, every day seems to have a kind of balanced rhythm, where one thing, a word, an act, effects the broader field of experience, it builds force throughout the conscious, or subconscious  interchange between objects seen, and unseen. Even things like the weather, whether or not you believe it, or witness it, effects so very much... mood and action, reaction and plan. So, today, for me comes with a mood, and options of how to react and set mood, the little things that I may never be desiring to look at can act as sign posts even, as I choose not to bite my cheek, or scratch my left ring finger, I just rub instead... and that small of a difference, of a milder approach can, will make all the difference between worlds during the rest of my conscious day, and for me and others, night.
