A monk asked the priest Kan-feng:
-Bhagavats in the ten directions got one straight road to Nirvana. I dare to ask where that road is?
Kan-feng lifted up his staff, drew a line in the air, and said:
-Here it is.

Suppose ignorance is the root of anger, can we uproot it?  What would we do to uproot it?  Any suggestion?

Only laughter or any other form?

You meant when you got angry at your workplace, you would keep your anger silently. Right?

How did you do that?  You kept your mouth shut with the heat inside and just shown a litlle bit in your eyes, or you chewed it for a while until it's gone?

The focus remains on the work, and not on the talk. I generally avert any gaze, for I burn too deep, to early. I go to where the greatest need is, to the lone person caught by the body's decline, there I make peace... serving the ill, honoring every word, sound of suffering, honestly, as before a clear light.

vertical line I had no anger last night, and had no real idea why. Just a second night on created a familiar atmosphere where relaxation became the norm. I was even talking, supporting other's concerns and fears, and laughing and joking. But there was an incident where something kind of serious came up, to me anyway. Not angry, just kind of confused and concerned for others.
