My dog just tried to climb in my lap. She's a 75 pound Labrador though. Didn't get too far. Still a puppy at heart. |

My dog loves to climb up in my lap. Shes mid-sized. I put a cushion over the space between the leg rest and seat of my recliner so she doesnt fall through.
The danger is that if she sees a cat on her deck she will launch off of me and carve deep scratches with her hind claws. She does that so fast I have a hard time avoiding it. She gets me at the shoulders just under the collarbones.
I have to take my shirt off at the Chiropractors office. She hasnt said anything about the scratches, but probably thinks I have a helluva lover. Nope. Just my dog.

I'm up this morning, here to see and tell, before greeting the dogs out in the front room, still being quiet. No words have been uttered yet, only coffee on the breath, a gift to the tongue of life giving and getting when starts to form words from thoughts... as the sun rises on the land of light reception, clean air giving silent being beginnings. |

Aww. Close enough. A dog may not be a lover but at least they are always there for you. Unless they see something chase-able. But then, we've established the same is true for an SO. |

Her mom is very ill with Cancer. They all live in Northern Viginia. It would not be practical for her to move away at present, but after her mom has passed on it may be a good idea.
I have been living alone for 20 years, and I could use some company. Its been a long time since I lived in a *family* setting. |

Open your heart and mind and see what comes to you.
The only prerequisite I know of is that you have to be able to stop the internal dialogue, and leave it off. There is nothing else to work on than that. |
