I should start practice again...I've been reading about it for awhile now. The books have been a motivator. Such a simple thing it is. Just sitting is a comfort and after the meditation it's a relaxation. Yeah, I should even though I don't have a lot going for myself right now. |

I don't read anymore. Been out in the garden today. Built a tractor gate for the garden fence. Getting tanner. Fed the pet chipmunk in the garage. Walked the dogs 3 miles. Just got kicked off |

Someone told me they were taught in *Finishing School*
*To always think and say,
The kindest thing in the kindest way.*
I try to remember that. Cultivating a feeling of *kindness* in yourself
Is a good assurance of good karma. |

So, I picked up a little Cava-poo puppy for my brother and his girlfriend who live out of state. They won't be here for another month to pick it up. So I am babysitting the little squirt until then. It's a birthday present for my brothers girl. Training the pup is going to be fun, she's my little alarm clock in the mornings. I think were going to try taking a walk today. The pup needs her exercise so she can sleep at night. I think it was kind of me to help out my bro and plus a little friend for a month to keep me busy. :) |

The way I look at the hearts rule always begins 'I am what I am & I do because I have to.' Its just how my life moves forward and the way it works for me. |

Meditate on the beat of the heart where the breath stops and the eyes close forever. |

The lack of blood circulation in my legs are really beginning to hurt alot. I have given up sitting in the full lotus position for years. But, still ... I feel pain. Eyes closed for only a moment

I dunno. I think it's better when the heart and head work as a team. |

Quote: "The heart is a good servant but a poor master. " .........
Thomas Jefferson wrote an essay on an argument between the Head and Heart.
In it, the Heart condemns the Head for its many misjudgements, made in the name of logic, and fear of consequences, and concludes by telling the Mind to stick to its own business, saying that it is the job of the Heart to chart the course of life, and the job of the Head to find ways to make it work.
And I find that works. Instead of thinking of what I should or should not do, I ask myself to be honest about what I really want, and then use my head to see how close I can get to that.
Winning and losing are just nominal things Winning means getting what you want, even if technically you have lost. Like when I got a dear John letter from my first wife, it was exactly what I wanted, and I went out and got myself a new girlfriend that same night. |

Most of you are on the plan of attack...No Thanks...I'm on the plan of gentleness. The Dog I am watching for a month is 2 pounds 8 oz....There is no choice but gentleness. Maybe that is why the butterfly landed on my finger yesterday. God. |

My feelings come before my actions. I have a mad desire to do but my heart only has so much to give so living by the hearts rule is the way things must be, for this guy. |

Was listening to a robin's singing today, and was like a person, a human with bird words, because I could make out what he was saying, and it all made sense, was sung in perfect rhythm, with everything else around, the trees, sunshine, grasses, insects, right now |

I don't know about relying on the senses as of this year...My entire experience with them have proved "stale." With a whole year of limitation by the senses, encumbered by uselessness, my reliance has shifted into the heart. Even with [nothing important to do] and [nobody to engage with] I feel the attention in my heart will drive my path safely to its ultimate aim. Living by the hearts rule, alone, shows potential. |

Feel the subtle sensations that are alive in you as an offering of light and love in a cold lost world, and offer peace in silence as being a leaf on a tree as a burning bush unconsumed by the intensity of life's solace need. |
