Is there a touch of jealousy in those words?? Not for me, not for me?? Naah, the leaves fall cause the time of year arrives and the weather calls for it to happen. All I wish is for my child to be happy in her life. What else is there?

"Not seeing is the perfect seeing."
Strange words, perhaps, but they have a profound meaning. They describe the advanced meditator's experience of spacious, universal reality, the experience beyond dualism. |

Thank you for he explanation. Otherwise I would be lost upon reading those words. When I meditate, I don't see space or emptiness. I see my mind throwing thoughts at me. Sometimes I chase and sometimes I let it go. Most times, I'm with the breathe. When I can get to the quiet , I ... I just enjoy it.

Rake them into a pile and put them in a bag for the trash man to collect.

So what do the leaves really represent? Do they mean contentment? Cause upon sight, they relieve your stress? Do they mean anxiety? Cause, it is not me, not me??
Having a child lets me know that there is something of me that goes on. That gives me some happiness. Life is not all suffering. But, it is about impermanence, change ...

pretty simple...i looked at the leaves falling outside and a peace came over me. but i wont have peace quite yet. not for me. but my children will. i will do and say what i can until i change at least a few mindsets in this world.
me stressed? very very rarely anymore. as a matter of fact the more i relax the more intuitive insights i have into reality.

I didnt come assembled right out of the box either, and Im sure there is more work to go on me yet.
I started in meditation by asking questions instead of using a mantra. That worked for me. I got answers. Eventually I ran out of questions, and by then realized I wasnt really smart enough to be asking the questions.
So since then I go into meditation *blank*, waiting to see what the Spirit has in store for me rather than trying to direct the course of it myself. That has worked even better than asking questions.
