It’s
impossible to understand the present Middle East without a knowledge of
the three great religions that emanate from the area—Judaism,
Christianity and Islam. These three faiths all trace their spiritual
roots back to the same individual, Abraham.

It is easy to understand ... the cause -- greed (clinging), hatred (aversion) and ignorance (delusion) among other things like pride, avarice, sloth, wrath, lust, envy, gluttony, greed (again) |

Or the fact that the only people we can trust are from tge middle east!! The only people telling the truth the only people with the gumption to stick by their beliefs. The only people to live and die by their faith. What do we have by comparison?
A lot of sheep, who will do anything to fit in and to further their material aims, whilst understanding and totally knowing the wrongs of our governments and financial system (especially u Americans) the omorallity and total absence of faith, of trust in life.
But don't worry to much folks cause we do have television and that will keep us suitably distracted (and stupid and hating whoever we are told to hate) |

The perfect 'forever' enemy. And even more perfect because it does not exist, except to keep the world on edge. The enemy which doesn't exist except in tge imagination is perpetual.
How do I know ? The tele of course.

As long as I can pay my bills and taxes, the economy is okay.
As long as I can get back and forth to work, there is no gas crisis.
The only war I will fight is when a foreign army marches up my driveway.
I dont care if television drains my brain, I dont want anything in there anyway.
All of the problems of the world are not my problems, just my own are enough.

The sun is out, with clouds in the sky and it is pouring rain!

Here it is where you could be under consideration - in the world but not of the world. Walking over the world and building no housey thar. But you need to be a Jesua to understand a Jesua. A poet to understand a poet. A Buddha to understand a Budgie to understand a, et al. |

Im not separate from my nose either, yet I feel no obligation to pick at it.
Man has been genetically distinct as a species among the Apes for about 8 million years, and bipedal for about 3 or 4 million years, which is what we would call the dawn of man.
Technologically, we have survived and progressed in a stellar fashion. But have we really advanced socially since the first homonid picked up a stick and hit another?
Usually, worldy concern translates into people thinking they should force others to see things their way, for their own good, and for the good of the world and mankind.
Thats how wars get started. |
