I have stopped watching television for months. I have noticed a profound yes profound change in my thoughts. They are clearer, I have completely lost 'tele absence anxiety' (which interestingly took a while) and the interesting thing about this is that it was like giving up cigarettes, I found myself reacting with anxiety (as cold turkey) slight panic. I think now that there is much subliminal matterial on the tele. I think there is mind manipulation (suttler then the obvious manipulation)

not only on the television. i have seen various things on the internet. as preludes to songs ect on youtube. quick and subtle. and just picture flashes. television is poop. period. i havent watch in years and years. four years if not more. i did watch a few movies a year ago. but not no more. they desensitize. the horror movies. not only this but i dont watch porn no more. i dont chat on the internet. save on here and facebook. i didnt have internet nor a computer for a week. i went fishing. and socialized more. it was nice.

Hah, the internet is worse. To the point of illusory wierdness. Things that kind of like a digital sickness. If you are on it to a point you have experienced this. Strange, I have been becoming dispassionate to both the box and net. Still, use them moderately. |

I like TV, but Im selective about what I watch.
I dont watch the news.
I like documentaries, particularly about history.
Sitcoms are short on plot but usually good for a laugh or two.
I like movies.

I think you are right about the web. I was reading about it yesterday, I must admit there have been times where i did not have available internety and i felt releived!!
