Lovely weather today. A foot of snow and no chance of cutting loose until this tree lying across our street is removed. Thank goodness our power is still on. It's wonderful to have the warm things like coffee, a shower, the furnace and family. :) |

It continues to rain here. Having to put down more and more dry straw on the mud in order to keep the animals as dry as possible but it soon disappears. The river which runs about half a mile past the house has burst its banks and I don't know if the road into town is passable yet. Hoping to meet my daughter off the train later today. Happy Solstice. |
