Find a place where you are alone and train yourself
in this way:
When you breathe in, experience breathing in.
When you breathe out, be fully conscious that
you are breathing out.

something interesting i would like to mention. all these ideas about thoughts being controled is not really as it seems.
If i say BLUE you think automatically of the colour blue in some form.
if i then say RED you will now think of a red thing.
were these thoughts from you ? yes at the prompting of the colours. (trhe influence of something).
but the question is where did the thought come from and when we went to red from blue where did the blue thought go?
we have very little control as to the appearance of thought but we do have a semblence of control in what we do with said thoughts.
this is why it is important to watch every thought rise and fall. Find its origin and notice.
and as practice makes one stronger the thoughts can be seen upstream of actuality (the subtle beginings of thoughts) and understood before they are tangible.
