hard works usually has a consistant motivational factor of greed underlying it. then theres fear.....ya know.....serf and lord.......slave and pharoah...haha. ect. forced labor....not all the time. or other factors.....fame.....ect....sloth isnt to be leaned toward either. as this is rebellions against hard work. both extreme.

My motivation for working hard is to do the work and past the time so I feel like I get back to my life. Greed?? No ... it is love ... hahaha

Most people work hard for security, and that works.
But you dont have to work hard for freedom.
For instance, there is a lot of *Wilderness Area* in the US where any citizen can go and live off the land just like a hundred years ago or more. Thats an option some have taken.
Or, it would not take much money to fly out to the Marshall Islands, a US Territory in the South Pacific, and have a boat or plane take you to a small unoccupied island and leave you there. Thats another option.
You have to work hard for security, but for freedom you just have to need less. |

Living off the land is still hard work for security. Running away and hiding, even with less needs, is not freedom.

One needs to have the survival skills to "live off the land". Nothing like freezing your butt off while hungry to motivate one to go to work to earn money to pay the rent and buy tiolet paper. Leaves hurt the asss. But, hey, if you lead then I will follow ... not .... hahaha

Work is good for its own sake, and for the sake of mind and body. Very good when done for the sake of others, and together with others.

Work done for the sake of one's desires, while harming others, is not so good.

hard work is arduous
working hard at something that has meaning, however, gives purpose and joy
work is meaningful activity, a healthful therapy for the mind, heart and body |

In the meantime, every now and then take a break from work, and do something enjoyable. I'm sipping tea, and talking to some good friends. :-)
