He was once selling bamboo baskets. Coming down off the a bridge, he stumbled and fell.
When Ling-chao saw this she ran to her father's side and threw herself down.

In a world of corruption and systematic greed and ego, what choice is there?

Smile?

:) That's a good start I guess...

vertical line Just live your life how you would like to, not how the world does.  Be a rebel of your own kind if you need to.  I am feel how you do, but I just go on being myself living how I like.  Running away from money and material wealth is just as bad as running towards it, be neutral

vertical line That' s the paradox. : we're a part of it and not a part of it.

We can't change the world but we can live any reality we choose to live.

If you want to misunderstand me, go ahead.  I can't change others either.

Nothing to do with convenience or inconvenience.

Do you think the Dalai Lama and Thich Nhat Hanh are as much part of the systematic greed and hatred etc that are in the world as the head of some exploitative pharmaceutical company?

If the answer is no, maybe you should ask yourself how they manage it.

We should strive not to be a part of it by the way we live our lives.  What else can we do?
