You see Now by not worrying about the past, not worrying about your circumstances, and not worrying about the future. Just do it. |

I have always found it relaxing to ride a motorcycle, because it is dangerous, and so therefore you cant afford to think about anything except exactly what you are doing at the moment.
Life is inherently dangerous. There really isnt a time when an accident cant happen, so we really cant afford to drift off into thought and be distracted from what we are doing at the moment.
Im not saying one has to focus every speck of mental energy on even the simplist things, like going to the fridge to get out a piece of fruit. Im saying one should not create distractions by thinking about something else.
Maybe someone who was in the fridge last dropped an ice cube on the floor, and its waiting there for you to slip on it and fall, breaking your back, or your head. Who knows ?
Riding along the Beltway around DC, I noticed that the truck in the next lane was going to hit a pallet that had fallen off another truck. I sped ahead so that it happened behind me instead of in front of me, and then looked in the rear view mirror. The truck clipped the pallet, which then catapulted through where I would have been, and nearly hit the driver in the next lane over, who swerved and barely missed it because he didnt see it coming.
Thats life. There is really no time to think about other things. |

No ... aggregates are impermanent like the self. You are made up from your body and mind ... that is an aggregate and will change and so is impermanent. Finding your true self ... you find the essence of ... you ... then you are infinite. The limits being that you are here, now ... in this body ... hahahahaha

Especially in your case, after all you tend to stop thinking and just eat watermelons. |

The past can not be altered it is outside of change except in a mental construct. The future is also nothing more than a mental construct. Our reactions to these projected fantasies are Karmic. They bind us and blind our unleaning, unbiased, unattached, experience of the actual. Sorrows and passions arise on a pedestal of fantasy and they rule your thoughts and emotoons outside of your free will. A ghost of you, now lives your life, an automoton. It is not so much that saddness nor joy do not arise, it is not that we do not intervene to avert disaster or to facilitate good karmic pattern. It is that we do not react to the construct, rather than the actual. That is the ability we arrive at in the present moment. |

The past and the future are nothing but your thoughts. The past as your memories and the future as your imagination. But how can you think of the present moment. The moment you think it is no longer present moment, it is either the past or the future.
Just stop thinking.. just eat watermelon and all your karma disappears.
