That isn't what is meant by thinking it is someone else's fault .. you will suffer
It means to take responsibility for your actions and your life
In turn, you will find that you will feel better about your life and the events that do happen to be good.
And, those bad things that happen ... you will know they are truly not your fault.

If you just stop thinking then you are no better than the apes.
It is your thinking that sets you apart from them
It is your awareness that brings enlightenment.
But hey, don't listen to me ... comtinue your eating and see where that gets you ... hahaha

vertical line Just don't think and you are clean. I know it is very hard to do but if you can do it you are saved. Most of your sufferings are just imagined. That is because you are always thinking. Your mind is automatic to have thoughts. But if you can lessen it bit by bit you can feel it and you are relaxed.

I am just exagerating it to make a better impact. Everyone who is enlightened says that thinking is the cause of suffering - Osho, Tolle, Krishnamurti, etc. Dalai Lama.

vertical line For what are the nature of thoughts. They are just memories of the pasts or imaginations of the future. So thoughts are not reality precisely because they are the past which is gone and the future which did not come to happen yet.

If you can stop thinking you see the Now, the present moment.
How can you think of the present moment, never.

Thinking leads to wanting,

wanting leads to needing,

and needing leads to suffering.

If you dont want anything, then you dont need anything, ergo no suffering.

Just be happy and satisfied with what is and there is nothing to think about.

I am an Ape.  I know that, so it is easy to deal with apelike tendencies that arise naturally.

I can overrule my apelike tendencies when I see them arise, but I dont always see them in time.  One apelike tendency is to react to stimuli before thinking things through.

In my dreams and visions, I am not always an ape, and often have no body at all.  These experiences of not being an Ape also help me to overrule apelike tendencie in this world.

Subconsciously, we are the sum of all of experiences, including those from other lives we have lived, including all of our dreams.  Consciously, we are the sum of what we remember of all of our experiences. 

I am not afraid to be an Ape.  It is what I am at the moment.  I accept it as part of Things as It is, and deal with it.
