Do not go after the past,
Do not lose yourself in the future.
For the past no longer exists,
And the future is not yet here.
By looking deeply at things just as they are,
In this moment, here and now,
The seeker... continue...

Get back on the bike.

It may seem a bit wobbly at first, but then will get back to your usual.

Meditation isnt for everyone.  Sitting is, of course.

My father and brother both had the exact same experience when first trying Transcendental Meditation.  As soon as they entered a visionary state, they were attacked and torn to shreds by a werewolf.  Interesting especially since they had not discussed it.  Both events were independent and identical.

My mother on the other hand had good experiences with TM and practiced it the rest of her life.  But she never became awakened, while my father, who afterwards rejected everything related to meditation and metaphysics, did become awakened just before he died.

You have to find what works for you.  In the long run, thats all that matters.
