When Yang-shan Hui-chi (807-883), as a young monk, paid a visit to the Ch'an master
Hsing-k'ung, there was a monk who asked Hsing-k'ung:
-What is the meaning of the Patriarch's coming from the West?
Hsing-k'ung replied:
-Suppose... continue...

I would like to know anyones opinion about the question that I am going to pose.

No double meaning zen set-u-up question.

No me bigger man-thing than you.

Just would realy appreciate genuine straight forward answers.

I would like to know your answer to:

WHAT IS THE TRUTH OF THIS REALITY?

vertical line Really? You should have shouted, 'cuz the truth of your reality seems to be resistance - a friction between yourself and what you perceive to be the outside world.

Everything is contradictory.

Love is the only game in town - the Game of games.

The truth [of this reality] is lived, not taught.

vertical line WHAT IS THE TRUTH OF THIS REALITY?

The truth of this reality is that ....
there is what you see, smell, taste, hear and feel with your five senses
and there is what your mind creates.
Much like in the movie "The Matrix" ...
things are as they seem until that time you are enlightened
then you see with different eyes and different mind.

I know that doesn't answer your question.
But, it is all I have to offer ... sorry.

vertical line I threw a tennis ball up on the snow covered roof last night for the dogs to fetch once it came down onto the deck outback but it got stuck by the snow and became the size of a basketball snowball as it rolled to a stop. So this morning went out with the dogs again and threw another tennis ball on the roof , it hit the other by chance and both came down onto the deck for the snogetts to fetch and play with. Chance chance i make no stance.

vertical line Everything that you know that your mind did not create is your reality.

It is not anything that your mind create and you believe.

The truth of this reality?  It is.

I can’t say ‘it isn’t’ as that would have meant giving a double meaning that you didn’t want. So that will have to do.

Hope it’s a ‘genuine and straightforward enough answer’ to the very  ‘straightforward’ question you posed and were looking for.

And no, me not a bigger man-thing than you, whatever that means.
