If You Are Always in Duality You Are Constant Change.
Why are there two polarities when 'God' is seen as only one?

Is this a question for a Zen Buddhist perspective? With the deity concept you are in the realm of metaphysical and supernatural. And the absolute statement that change and duality are the same leaves me confused, what is it you are trying to say? Respectfully.... |

It is not metaphysical. It is reality - Your Buddha Nature which is beyond duality. If you experience your Buddha Nature you are beyond duality, beyond changes. |

But as long as you have not experience your Buddha Nature your life is a constant change. All you can see is constant change. |

Duality is your perception of reality which is distorted and limited.

It looks like maybe you have mistakenly put "you" and "your" in place of "I" and "my" in all of your posts. Because there is no way you could know what others see, think, perceive, or feel. Unless they tell you, in which case they would use the words "I" and "my".

If I understand you correctly you are saying that duality is "not change". Duality as I understand it is about polarity of frame of reference. A photograph across a room compared with a photograph from the other side of the room describe two different viewpoints, yet, together they give a much wider image. Non-duality sees from both perspectives without discriminating against the other for dominion. I am not certain how, "change" has anything to do with this.
Impermanence is a Buddhist teaching. It is a teaching that allows one to appreciate things for what they are, as they are. It almost sounds as if you are saying that things are absolute and unchanging. The only thing that does not change is change itself. Everything is in a constant state of rise and fall.
Please clarify, are you speaking from a Buddhist perspective, are you Buddhist and do you practice Zen Buddhism?

Oh and just to clarify, if you are not Buddhist, Zen Buddhist or do not practice Zen, this is not a "bad" thing. I have found that by learning about a person's chosen perspective, I can reconcile what they mean with my understanding, or not...and this is fine too. You mentioned "God" so this can denote a mystic teaching you are engaged in. |

Well the topic is clear that duality is constant change. Duality is in the physical level within your 5 senses that is why in constant change. But when you can experience beyond duality, beyond your senses then it is beyond change, constant oneness. |

Thoughts of duality and non duality is all part of your delusions. Stop your thinking on such things and sit ... practice being awareness Start your self inquiry upon your very nature and see the truth. Otherwise drown in your falsehoods ....
"Without awareness, you will do much to protect your beliefs."

Based on language alone your statement is flawed.
From the dictionary: duality 1. the state or quality of being two or in two parts; dichotomy
Although I do see a conceptual line of thought you are persuing which could be in line with the word duality, it is one step removed and indulges a beluef in permanance. Are you a Zen Buddhist? |

The Spirit of meditation is Jhana. Jhana is aligned with the five rivers/elements of body, feels, perceptions, mental formations and consciousness.
Body awareness translates to "I am here for you" Feeling awareness translates to "Not always so" Perception awareness translates to "Be still and know" Mental Formation awareness translates to "It is what it is" Consciousness awareness translates to "You are the world"
Jhana is the pure breath and blood of the practice. |

You mean you are just following the dictionary and you call yourself a Zen Buddhist...? lol
So what do you think? Am I a Zen Budhists? If I say yes, do you believe? If I say no, do you believe? So what do you think of all my topics? Are you paying attention or what?

I'd say, because nothing is like the real thing. I could construct a million things a million times over in my brain and it still would be just a thought. What is pointing and what is. They are duality. Dos. Be aware of that, I suppose. I'd like to see my Being fill my experience. I think that aspiration is enough to practice Zen.

I have been responding to you from a tablet. For some reason, the tablet was not showing the links you had attached to your post. Now that I am on my computer I can see the links. You do not appear to be speaking from your own experience and understanding, merely mimicing what you have heard. This clarifies why I was confused.
One of the difficulties of mixing various systems of belief, thought or practice, is that it muddles things. This is the only reason I asked for clarity about weather or not you are practicing Zen Buddhism, not to establish a right or wrong, so much as determine your frame of reference. I have found that much in Zen can be translate into Christian terminology, but you must really have a feel for both to see where they fit because often they appear to contradict.
Anyway, now that I see you are mixing up various systems, and that you are sensative to such a simple question as 'are you a practicing Zen Buddhist", I will gently withdraw from this conversation. |

There's an important distinction between 'no mind' and 'mindlessness' leoj.
But I don't want to get into duality here of all places (i.e. nowhere).
