vertical line i reckon greed ego desire are not emotions, they lead to or come from emotions. This is an important distinction i found.

because i found there is a place upstream of emotions where you can watch the emotions form (if you are watching) but further still is the place of ego desire greed.

vertical line When you can touch the suffering of others with your own suffering, that thorn unites what was once separate, it is not just someone else you see suffering, but yourself, and in that moment, there is no me and them, no us and them, there is unison, even as you are still aware of the distinction, of "us" and "them".

Perhaps the more you have desire to " practice" the more suffering , longer the journey ........................Buddhism is a process leading to freedom from emotion not to further creates more emotions .

vertical line Buddhism is the arrow that points towards the target.
And practice is the vehicle that allows you to arrive at the target.
With practice, you put the mind and body in harmony with the universe.
Desire and thought and emotions are quieted to let you see the awareness
Reflections of yourself. The moon in the bucket of water.

To spend time reading the Sutras and developing thoughts about Buddhism
And to debate merits of Buddhism ... to debate wisdom of Buddhism
This leads to the longer journey
Because words leads to more words and thoughts to more thoughts
And you can not arrive at the target by thinking it so.
Understanding and wisdom comes from the practice of living life and experiencing life to the fullest.

To me , you seems " had" perception on Buddhism and how to " develope" or have aim for your practices and thats to me is creating more self ......

You seems " had" your attachment on what should be Buddhism , how to be part of Buddhism and how to acheive " Buddhism" .....well my friend to me PERHAPS you are creating a knowledge out of Buddhism and to me perhaps that is taking longer journey .

No, only what was taught to me.
But, your view is not a new one
Many can see only what they wish to see
If you can only see your own truths then where is it valid ... hahahaha

If you and he are saying the same thing then who am I talk to ... hahahaha

Perhaps I am not as you descriped ........I do not have any imagination / expectation or any wish for my journey ....as I currently aware that Buddhism is never to create the future or living the past but is always awake in present moment ......condition you in is yourself , live in it . Dear Avisitor to me the process into emptiness / nothingness perhaps is the only truth and is always free ...so if you accepted it then it will be yours .....nothing is belong to me nor the body , the knowledge etc ....

I hope to debate with you more for my own learning process .

Thks

CSEe
