O monks, even if you have insight that is pure and clear but you cling to
it, fondle it and treasure it, depend on it and are attached to it, then you
do not understand... continue...

.......

Rid your mind of thoughts and emotions. Achieve the clarity that is there from the beginning of time.
Now, that there is no thing. Is your mind empty?? There is no thing there ... but, what watches the no thing.
So is the mind empty?? Yet is there no thing there??
This is why emptiness is very misunderstood.

vertical line Emptiness is misunderstood but most people are always talking about emptiness. I guess they are just demonstrating their own emptiness.

vertical line A headache is neither fullness or emptiness. It's just a headache. Feel the pain, do what is needed to resolve it, feel better.

Talking about emptiness and fullness is like arguing with the headache instead of just doing something to make it feel better.

vertical line Self is not delusion.
Self is an illusion. Believing it to be the only truth is delusional.
You can't see this unless you can shift from where you see it.
Moment to moment Zen ... hahaha

vertical line thoughts of self is delusion
thought of self being a dependent body is illusion.
but only in some perceptions.

All perceptions and ideas and all of matter is baseless, that is in a constant state of change. Like a vibration fading out until it is back to its original state, stillness, in which they are re-assessed, giving a new understanding of past, present and future. Everything gets re-interpreted in this way.

No, one is a misapprehension.
The other is a complete belief in the illusion.

If you believe there is something else or other then you can begin to learn a way out of the illusion.
But, a delusion will always keep you deluded cause of the strong belief.
When there is no practice, awareness is never given the chance to manifest.
And, one will do much to protect ones beliefs.
When one practices, awareness grows and understanding develops from practice.
Yes, it is also necessary to read about Buddhism or have a teacher guide you.
The practice is on going.
