One day when P'ang layman (740-808)was selling bamboo baskets at the market place of Hung-chou.
Seeing a monk begging alms, he took out a cash and said:
-Can you tell me how to appreciate alms?
The monk had nothing to say.
P'ang... continue...

→→→→ vertical line TOPIC: MANIFESTING
vertical line Posted on Jun.27.2013 @ 05:15AM EDT by justin
If you have ideas of God that are based on concepts of being or un-being, your thinking is way from the truth, if they are concepts of a almighty person (which creates a....) or un-person you are looking at the finger again.

if you look with Buddha eyes at a flower and see the universe of interdependent reality ah now you will see miracles,  the universe in manifestation!

I am very grateful for all of you, for providing your perspectives and allowing mine, thankyou,

vertical line "I" have often found that this mind permeates the meditative mind.
Where senses are felt and thoughts abound, mind is there.
When the concentration is better, less is felt and less is thought.
The "I" disappears for a while.
Am "I" then lost?
Am "I" then found?

The conditions for this self to exist goes
And, so this self goes
Now, it is back ... I wonder from where??

Sorry for my rantings ....

List of dreams ... that means you have desires and therefore are not living in the here and now.
But, keep your dreams. You may have need of them .. on those lonely nights ... hahaha

Perhaps if one have knowledge of Buddha being a person known as Siddharta and created a faith on his teaching and practicing into his path that is suffering .........that is taking longer / more suffering journey into emptiness .

In my current understanding of Buddhism there is nothing to be accepted as faith or beliefs or truth ........just flow into self realization and as we progress , our attachment on knowledge / emotions / desire will be decreased .

Buddhism is a process leading to decreasing in all ...........

Thks

vertical line Buddhism isn't a journey into emptiness.
Form is emptiness and emptiness is form.
When the conditions come together, the self exist.
Body, mind, environment ... these things bring the conditions for self.
When the conditions goes, the self goes ... emptiness.

One can not find enlightenment through seated meditation.
Just as one can not polish a roof tie into a mirror.
This self can not be made into a Buddha.

vertical line Impermanence, suffering, no-self
Three marks of existence.

Life is full of change ... understandable
Suffering is defined by Buddha's Four Noble Truths.
No-self ....

While I was walking in the woods the other day I completely forgot to name all the different aspects of nature I saw so at the the end of the walk I named her no self.

vertical line Or perhaps no self means...

You are not your body. Your body is not you. You are not the doer. You are not the enjoyer. You are pure awareness, The witness of all things. You are without expectation, Free. Wherever you go, Be happy!

vertical line More to the point...

In the beginner’s mind there is no thought, "I have attained something." All self-centered thoughts limit our vast mind. When we have no thought of achievement, no thought of self, we are true beginners. Then we can really learn something.
