i was in I-san recently and i visited a temple. whilst there i saw a thudong monk. that night i dreamed i was a thudong. It was raining hard (i heard it on the roof) and i dreamed i was wet and cold in the forest, with my robe tent, but happy and experiencing.
the next day i went to the village temple and met a monk, we talked and he said i would be welcome to study with him, it is rare to meet a senior monk who speaks english. so i kinda think it is auspicious. it is a small temple in the country with three resident monks one of which was just last week ordained. i was made to feel very welcome.
