vertical line I take it that you don't like peace because it makes you feel utter disheartenment.
Which I am not sure if there is such a word as disheartenment.

vertical line I love walking in the woods, mushrooms are abounding, we've had so much rain. The deer know which shrooms to pick and pack, and even leave leftovers for the unknowing ones like me. Here come the clouds  with more rain to feed the seeds at heavens gate.

vertical line The wild life at our lake house is abundant, it's because the lake is surrounded by woods. I love to see all the different kinds of animals. I'm always left with a connective feeling after a nice walk in the woods.

.........

Some years ago I was stricken by utter disheartenment. Peace is every step built me up from where I was to where I am today. Because if you ever come to know the state of utter disheartenment, without cause, you're on your way to enlightenment. But that's just me.

vertical line Now that you've explained your meaning, it makes more sense.
And each person is on a slightly different path.
Guess for you it had to be through utter dis-heart-en-ment.

Peace be with you.

vertical line I found zen through being completely disheartened to the point where I had no where else to go.

I was the deer being hit with the stick of compassion.

And very sick so I needed the doctor, I tend to think I am not learning (it doesn't feel like that) but remembering. I needed to exhaust all pretense before I could see it as pretense.

vertical line Being honest with words is difficult...but the word "disheartenment" is a close one, and it was a lesson in compassion. Maybe I was sick too, but I didn't feel ill...anyway, seeing truly things as it is and walking and being peace one step, two step, three step, happy step.
